Rattlers announce specialty hats & jerseys for 2015
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers won't just be wearing their usual uniforms when they suit up for Midwest League games in 2015. The Rattlers will wear five specialty jerseys and three specialty caps this season. To see a larger image of the different jerseys, please see this post at Rattler Radio.
Brewers Sunday - Most Sunday Home Games:
For their seventh season as a Milwaukee Brewers affiliate, the Timber Rattlers will once again wear uniforms and caps based on their parent club for all Sunday home games at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. These jerseys take their cue from the home jerseys of the 1982 Brewers - white with blue pinstripes. The hats will also be based on those worn by the '82 Brewers.
Foxes Throwbacks - Saturday, May 30:
The Appleton Foxes return to the Fox Cities on Back to the Future Night. Timber Rattlers players and coaches will wear blue jerseys based on the design of those worn by the Foxes in 1985. The old, familiar "AF" logo will also return on the team's caps for that evening.
Salute to Cows - Thursday, June 4:
The Rattlers will celebrate being in America's Dairyland by wearing these Cow-Patterned jerseys for the second season in a row on Salute to Cows Night. The jerseys will be up for bid in a silent auction during the game.
Star Wars Night - Saturday, June 6:
These Star Wars™ jerseys will not make you fluent in over six million forms of communication. But, they will make you look a lot like a certain protocol droid from the science fiction saga.
Military Appreciation Series July 4-5:
The Military Appreciation jerseys are red, white, and blue with white stars on a field of blue on the right sleeve and red and white stripes on the left sleeve. The team will also wear patriotic-themed baseball caps during this series.
Additionally, the Rattlers will be wearing new road caps this season. These caps are gray with a black bill and snake 'R' logo. These caps will not be available in an auction, but may be purchased in the Snake Pit Team Store beginning on Saturday, March 7.
The Brewers Sunday jerseys will be available in a live auction after the final Sunday home game of the 2015 season (August 16). Silent auctions will be held for the Foxes Throwbacks and Star Wars Night jerseys on their respective nights. A silent auction for both the caps and jerseys of the Military Appreciation Series will begin on July 4 and conclude on July 5. Proceeds from the auctions will go to local charities.
The Timber Rattlers will begin their 21st season of baseball on April 9, 2015 with a road game. Wisconsin's home opener is Sunday, April 12 at 4:05 pm against the Peoria Chiefs.
Individual game tickets for the 2015 season go on sale Saturday, March 7 at 10:00 am.
Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2015 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for the Box Office begin on March 7.
