Further Hartford schedule changes made

Yard Goats games scheduled June 21-26 to be played elsewhere

PORTLAND, Maine -- The Eastern League of Professional Baseball today announced that additional changes are being made to the 2016 home schedule of the Hartford Yard Goats. These changes are being made to the schedule due to the delayed availability of Dunkin' Donuts Park. At this time the league is moving home dates for the Hartford Yard Goats that were scheduled to be played in Hartford during the period of June 21st through June 26th.

A list of the changes which are currently being made to the 2016 schedule are listed below:

June 21st-June 23rd (Hartford Yard Goats vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels)

This series will now be played at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire. The complete schedule for these games, including game times is listed below:

  • June 21st: Richmond vs. Hartford at New Hampshire, 5:05 p.m.
  • June 22nd: Richmond vs. Hartford at New Hampshire, 5:05 p.m.
  • June 23rd: Richmond vs. Hartford at New Hampshire, 1:35 p.m.

June 24th-June 26th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. Erie SeaWolves)

This series will now be played at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut on June 25th and June 26th. Both clubs will have an off day on June 24th and will play a doubleheader on June 25th. The complete schedule for these games, including game times is listed below:

  • June 24th: OFF DAY
  • June 25th: Erie vs. Hartford at Norwich, 4:05 p.m. (doubleheader)
  • June 26th: Erie vs. Hartford at Norwich, 1:35 p.m.

Hartford Yard Goats season ticket holders will be allowed to attend all of these games in Norwich and New Hampshire with complementary tickets, courtesy of the Hartford Yard Goats. All other ticket sales will be handled by each of the stadium box offices.

The Eastern League will continue to monitor the situation and will make further decisions regarding the Hartford schedule as additional information becomes available regarding the availability of Dunkin' Donuts Park.
