Berger, Gall have two-homer games
Berger cranked two- and three-run blasts to tie a season high with five RBIs. He also homered twice against Oklahoma on April 8. Gall added a pair of two-run bombs in his first multi-homer game of the year and also singled.
Bo Hart contributed a run-scoring triple and Reggie Taylor had an RBI single for the Redbirds, whose seven-run fifth helped hand Nashville just its second loss in 10 games.
Jeremy Cummings (4-0) got the win after tossing 1 1/3 scoreless innings. In his return to the St. Louis Cardinals organization, starter Chris Narveson struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks. The 23-year-old left-hander was traded for Larry Walker last August, but returned to the Cardinals on waivers earlier this week.
Steve Scarborough and Corey D. Hart each went 2-for-3 with solo homers to account for the Sounds' offense.
Jeff Housman (5-11) was tagged for a season-high 11 runs on eight hits over five innings. The 24-year-old left-hander walked three and struck out one, losing for the fourth time in five starts.
