Squirrels Gift Charities with Season of Giving

RICHMOND, VA - On Saturday, December 1st, the Flying Squirrels began their aid to 18 charitable organizations with the 2012 Season of Giving. Encompassing the holiday shopping season, the team will donate 10% of its overall merchandise sales to individual groups from Saturday, December 1st - Saturday, December 22nd. Enter Promo Code "CHARITY" to make a 10% contribution.

The 2012 Season of Giving marks the fourth time the club has donated a portion of its merchandise sales to local groups. Over the course of the past three years of the month-long event, the Squirrels contributed nearly $5,000 to local charities.

The Squirrels Nest presented by Nike Team is located on the first base side of The Diamond. As part of special holiday shopping hours, the store will be open from 9 AM - 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, 10 AM - 4 PM on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
