Rivera Lifts Mets to 8-4 Win Over Cardinals

Michael Fulmer limited Palm Beach to one run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight in six innings as the Mets defeated the Cardinals 8-4 on Monday at Tradition Field.

T.J. Rivera had a three-run homer and Kyle Johnson also went deep.

Rivera finished 3-for-3 with a walk and four RBIs.

Johnson finished with two RBIs and scored twice.

Bret Mitchell contributed two scoreless relief innings

The Mets will host the Fort Myers Miralce at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rainy Lara will make the start for the Mets.
