A Different Special Every Day Of The Week With The Blue Rocks

Wilmington Offers A Deal Or Special Event Monday-Sunday During The 2014 Season
February 12, 2014

Wilmington, DE- The Wilmington Blue Rocks want to take AffordaFUNability to the next level in 2014, so the team decided to expand its day of week specials and features to cover each day of the week during the upcoming campaign. Wilmington will mix in new features like "Families Eat Free Thursdays" and "Go Mo Saturdays" with familiar stables like "Fireworks Fridays" and "Sunday Fundays" to construct the perfect balance of fun with incredibly low prices.

The week opens with $1 Mondays, which features savings on food and tickets. Any fan that purchases a regularly priced ticket to a Blue Rocks game on a Monday will receive an additional ticket for just a single buck. In order to make the offer a little more mouth-watering, the Rocks will offer a traditional ballpark food item for a dollar (either a hot dog or an Italian sausage -- check back later for additional details).

Another popular deal back for 2014 is "Two-riffic Tuesdays." Fans can get two box seats, two hot dogs and two sodas all for just $22. That is good for a savings of $8.

Then, once the calendar flips to May, the Rocks will help patrons experience the world during "Heritage Night Wednesdays" at Frawley Stadium. Fans can virtually travel the globe with the Blue Rocks for the scant price of just $7 per ticket. The only caveats are that fans have fun and they redeem these Wednesday night deals through the Blue Rocks group sales department.

On Thursdays and Saturdays this season the Rocks are unveiling two new features at the ballpark. "Families Eat Free Thursdays" at Frawley Stadium are sure to be a huge hit with the fans. Any family that purchases four regularly priced field box seats (the best spot to watch any Blue Rocks game at Frawley Stadium) for only $44, will receive four free regular hot dogs as well as four complimentary small sodas to wash them down. Then on Saturday, interact with the team online and buy your tickets via the web in order to be registered to be the Rocks' fan of the game on "Go Mo Saturdays." Fans will select music, in-games and more through the team's social media sites during all "Go Mo Saturday" games. One lucky winner will get a Blue Rocks fan pack, as well as video recognition during the game, just for participating.

Meanwhile, the day of week specials are anchored by two familiar favorites. "Fireworks Fridays" enter their fifth season at Frawley Stadium and are pretty self explanatory. Any fan who attends a Friday Blue Rocks game will see the Riverfront night sky light up during an awe-inspiring postgame fireworks show. Fans love it just like they enjoy taking part in the team's Sunday Funday activities. Every Sunday home game features a parent-child catch on the field before the game (weather-permitting) and postgame kids run the bases (weather-permitting). Both events are free and more importantly are as fun as they sound.

The Blue Rocks begin their 2014 campaign on the road at Winston-Salem on Thursday, April 3. The 22nd season of Blue Rocks baseball at Frawley Stadium begins with the home opener on Tuesday, April 8. Individual tickets for the upcoming campaign go on sale on Presidents' Day, but mini-plans and group packages are available now by calling 302-888-BLUE.
