Chiefs Holding National Anthem Contest

Submit your video for chance at singing at Dozer Park in 2014
March 7, 2014

Want to sing the National Anthem at Dozer Park before a Peoria Chiefs game in 2014? Now is your chance. The Chiefs are looking for National Anthem singers and are asking fans to submit a video or MP3 of them singing the Star Spangled Banner to Entertainment and Community Relations Manager Katie Nichols at [email protected]. The deadline to submit your rendition is Friday, March 21.

The Chiefs staff will then pick the top five submissions and allow fans to vote on social media for their favorite version. The contest winner will get to sing the anthem at one of the prime home games in 2014.

Not every submission will get chosen to perform at Dozer Park this season but those who enter the contest before March 21 have a chance to be chosen to fill in throughout the season. The top five are guaranteed a performance in 2014 with the winner, chosen by the fans, given a prime date.

All videos or mp3 versions should be under two minutes in length and please include contact information when submitting your rendition. The social media component of the contest will begin the week of March 24.

Individual, season and group tickets are currently on sale at Dozer Park (10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), online at www.peoriachiefs.com or toll free at 1-866-MYTICKET. The Chiefs promotional schedule is also available on the team website and fans can keep up with all Chiefs news during the offseason online at www.peoriachiefs.com and on twitter: @PeoriaChiefs.
