Cookies with Claus
This is a free event for the public, however Santa and Sherman are asking that you bring a new or barely used toy to donate to the Toy for Tots campaign! Last year with the help of Santa and Sherman, Toys for Tots was able to collect over 100 toys which will be distributed to needy children around the Delmarva Peninsula this holiday season.
During this year's event, children will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, along with trusted friend Sherman Claus. Children will also be able to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate courtesy of the Delmarva Shorebirds. A coloring station will also be set up for the children to enjoy while they await their visit from Santa!
All toys donated from this event will be given to the Toys for Tots Foundation, which will distribute the toys to needy children around the Eastern Shore.
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
You can still help bring a smile to a child's face this Christmas by donating a toy at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, an official drop off point for Toys for Tots.
