Monday "Knight" Football on June 9th

(Uptown Charlotte, NC) -- While baseball season is in full swing, the Charlotte Knights are set to welcome over 20 professional football players to BB&T Ballpark for Monday "Knight" Football on June 9th. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the Charlotte Knights play host to the Columbus Clippers (Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in game three of their four-game series.

The players will take batting practice on field until 6:15 p.m. and then sign FREE autographs for fans on the concourse of BB&T Ballpark from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. First pitch of Monday's game is set for 7:05 p.m.

To keep with the Monday "Knight" Football theme, the Knights will hold several football related contests throughout the night and fans are encouraged to show off their favorite team's colors by wearing a football jersey to the ballpark on Monday.
