Durango, Dgo. (Comunicación Generales) 22 de abril de 2021.- Excelente prueba tuvieron el miércoles los Generales, al llevarse a cabo su primer juego interescuadras de la pretemporada 2021, encuentro llevado a cabo en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento “Mario Vázquez Raña” de esta capital.
Para el manager Félix Fermín sirvió de parámetro para enfrentar próximamente juegos de exhibición frente a rivales de la Liga Mexicana.
El encuentro de esta tarde fue iniciado por los lanzadores John Anderson y Tiago da Silva, quienes mostraron sus avances y se perfilan como los inicialistas de cabecera en el staff de pitcheo.
Al margen de las actuaciones de Da Silva y Anderson, el estratega duranguense encontró en la actuación del joven lanzador Luis Cáñez una grata sorpresa, ya que levantó rectas de hasta 93 millas, lo mismo que Samuel Adames, quien se anticipa como uno de los lanzadores de cabecera para los Generales en la temporada 2021.
A la ofensiva Santiago González descargó cuadrangular.
Generales continuará su etapa de preparación este jueves en el CAR “Mario Vázquez Raña” en punto de las 10:00 horas; la práctica será a puerta cerrada.

Festín de batazos de largo metraje se dieron este jueves, en el segundo juego de interescuadras que Generales llevó a cabo en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento “Mario Vázquez Raña”, en el octavo día de actividades de la escuadra que dirige Félix Fermín.
Carlos Paulino, Tito Polo, Yancarlo Angulo y Moisés Gutiérrez descargaron largos batazos, que evidenciaron el poder que tendrá Generales a la ofensiva en su versión 2021.
Por si fuera poco, el joven prospecto duranguense Alejandro Rivera conectó triple, mostrando sus avances y dejando ver, el trabajo que la organización lleva a cabo con sus novatos.
Santiago González se hizo presente también con extrabase.
A la defensiva, el colombiano Tito Polo cada vez luce mejor, y realizó una atrapada en el jardín central como las que acostumbró en los Estados Unidos, en su paso por organizaciones de grandes ligas.
El pitcheo no se quedó atrás, luciendo con gran control y velocidad Marcos Rivas, Jesús Ríos, Víctor Buelna y Javier Reynoso con rectas que superaron las 92 millas.
Este viernes los Generales continuarán con su intenso trabajo de pretemporada, con práctica desde las 09:30 horas en sesión extra, y a las 10:30 con el resto del plantel.
A la ciudad de Durango reportará también el lanzador zurdo Ozzie Méndez, y el sábado se integrará al resto del equipo.
