The Potomac Nationals return home to Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Friday, July 13th for a four-game series against the Frederick Keys (Baltimore). The weekend is filled with activities for the whole family! The series features two nights of fireworks, Cosmo Kramer Night with a jersey auction, the Michael A. Tater (Taylor) Potato Statue giveaway, a kids batting gloves giveaway and Kids Day Sunday.

Friday, July 13th
First pitch: 7:05pm                  Gates open: 6pm

  • Cosmo Kramer Night, presented by Kramerica Industries: The P-Nats are celebrating the wacky, eccentric hipster doofus neighbor character from the hit television sitcom, Seinfeld, known fondly as "The K Man". See all the details of the night here.
  • Cosmo Kramer Seinfeld Themed Jersey Auction, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union to benefit Friends of Homeless Animals: the team will be wearing jerseys that look similar to Cosmo Kramer's famous lobster shirt and these jerseys will be auctioned off via a silent auction during the game. The auction begins once gates open and will run through the last out of the sixth inning. Winners will be able to take a photo post-game with the player or coach who wore and autographed the jersey.
  • Rod Langway Appearance, part of the Legends Autograph Series presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union: the Washington Capitals legend and NHL Hall of Famer will hold a meet-and-greet autograph session. The signing is free to fans on a first-come, first-served basis, with the line beginning as soon as gates open.
  • Washington Capitals Night: The Capitals will be out at the ballpark with hockey related games and two members of the Red Rockers.
  • Recycling Pays Night, presented by Prince William County Recycling Program: if fans tweet a photo of their recycling efforts to @PNats42 on Twitter in advance of the game, they will receive a $5 discounted grandstand ticket to Friday's game. If fans tweet a picture of their recycling efforts at the ballpark during the game, they will receive a free grandstand ticket to the next Recycling Pays Night later this season.
  • Joe Torre Safe at Home Domestic Violence Awareness Night: the P-Nats are partnering up with the foundation to raise awareness about domestic violence and educate fans about the resources available to help those in need. There will be a Topps Card Set giveaway and Joe Torre card for the first 500 fans and a signed Joe Torre Baseball will be auctioned off during the game.
  • Post-game Fireworks, presented by Onelife Fitness and WTOP
  • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill

Saturday, July 14th
First pitch: 6:35pm                  Gates open: 5pm
  • Michael A. Tater (Taylor) Potato Statue Giveaway, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union: (First 1,250): playing off of Michael A. Taylor's nickname, Michael A. Tater, this giveaway puts Taylor's face on a potato!
  • Ode to Potato Night: food specials, an in-game potato sack race and hot potato game, a team signed Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head will be raffled off, guess how many potatoes are in the jar at Fan Assistance and more will be part of the night celebrating the vegetable that changed the world.
  • Scout Night: area scouts are able to head to the ballpark to take in a baseball game, and then campout in the outfield after the game! They also can watch a movie post-game, receive a commemorative scout patch and take part in a pre-game on-field parade.
  • Ed Randall's Fans for the Cure: a team signed bat and Steve Garvey autographed baseball will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting Fans for the Cure
  • Post-game Fireworks, presented by WTOP
  • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill
  • Pre-game Band in the Café Area: Annie Stokes will be performing for fans

Sunday, July 15th
First pitch: 1:05pm                  Gates open: Noon
  • P-Nats Kids Batting Gloves Giveaway, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union (First 500 Kids 12 & under): kids can get ready for the pros with this giveaway! The first 500 kids will take home their own pair of batting gloves.
  • Kids Day Sunday:
    • Post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill
    • Kids Exclusive Post-Game Player Autograph Signing: Kids 12 & under can receive autographs from two P-Nats players in the café area after the game
    • Kids Eat Free: the first 250 kids 12 & under will receive a free hot dog
    • Face Painting: kids can have their face painted by Facing Angels in the concourse (charge applies)
    • Caricature Artist: fans can stop by the concourse, where an artist from Manis Creative will be setup (charge applies)
  • Military Appreciation Jerseys, presented by Reality Realty: The P-Nats will wear these on select games throughout the season to recognize local military members and to thank them for all that they do for our country. The jerseys will be auctioned off on the final Sunday home game of the season (August 26th).
  • Virginia529 Super Saver Sunday: show your Virginia529 Smart Savers Club Card at the ticket office to receive two free grandstand tickets to the game.

Monday, July 16th
First pitch: 12:05pm                Gates open: 11am
  • Summer Camp/Day Care Day: the ballpark will welcome local camps, daycares and summer programs for an afternoon of baseball and fun!
  • Lunch Break with the P-Nats: a $15 loaded ticket packaged that includes a reserved ticket for the game plus a lunch voucher for a hot dog or hamburger, chips and and a 22 oz. soda. Purchase here.
