For the fourth time this season, the Hot Rods offense was blanked throughout the course of the game, this time by Whitecaps RHP

On the pitching side, RHP JD Busfield (L, 3-2) took the hard-pressed loss while firing a quality start. He gave up just two runs on six hits through six innings.
Busfield has now thrown five or more innings in all six of his starts this season and has given up two runs or less in all of them.
Reliever Dalton Moats also tossed two scoreless innings for Bowling Green, lowering his ERA to 1.33 this season in a team-high 11 appearances.

Offensively for the Hot Rods, they were paced by three hits from shortstop
Aside from Fox, first basemen Nathaniel Lowe hit a single in the eighth inning to increase his team-high hitting streak to 10 games.
The Hot Rods will continue their week on the road on Tuesday with the second game of a three-game series against the West Michigan Whitecaps. Bowling Green will send LHP Brock Burke to the mound while the Whitecaps will counter with lefty
