SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane staged a dramatic three-run rally in the ninth inning for their second straight walk-off win over the Eugene Emeralds—this one by a final score of 9-8—in front of 2,107 fans at Avista Stadium for Fields of Green Sweepstakes Night presented by Living Water Lawn & Tree Care and 94.1 The Bear.

TOP PERFORMERS

Colin Simpson, who delivered the walk-off winner in yesterday's contest, drilled a two-run home run in the second and finished 2-for-4 to raise his OPS this season to 1.038.

Daniel Montaño finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and set-up the game-winner with a perfect bunt in the bottom of the ninth.

Robinson Hernandez (1-1) tossed two scoreless frames to earn the win.

TURNING POINT

Trailing 8-6 entering the bottom of the ninth, the Indians got to work quickly on a pair of singles from Eddy Diaz and Zac Veen. After Diaz scored on a wild pitch, Drew Romo's groundball was booted by Eugene second baseman Ghordy Santos, allowing Veen to score the tying run. Following a walk to Grant Lavigne, Montaño's bunt down the third base line was fielded by Emeralds catcher Patrick Bailey but his throw to first sailed into right field and Romo scampered home for the game-winner.
