Isotopes starting pitcher Barry Enright endured his roughest outing of the 2017 campaign, surrendering 10 runs, 12 hits including two home runs in 1.1 innings. The loss drops his season record to 5-4.
Sam Moll allowed just one run in 2.2 innings of relief while the 51s scored twice against fellow lefty Jerry Vasto in his two innings of work. Carlos Estévez tossed two shutout frames for Albuquerque, extending his scoreless streak to 10 consecutive appearances.
The only scoring for the Isotopes occurred in the opening frame when they plated three runs. Rosell Herrera and Ryan McMahon hit back-to-back doubles to bring home the first run. Jordan Patterson followed with an RBI single and the final run came across on Dustin Garneau's sacrifice fly. Outfielder Noel Cuevas finished the evening with three singles for his 14th three-hit game of the season.
The Isotopes return home Monday for five games in four days against the Tacoma Rainiers (Triple-A Mariners). Albuquerque will turn to lefty Sam Howard (2-2, 5.16) on the mound while former Isotope Christian Bergman (7-0, 2.91) gets the start for Tacoma. First pitch from Isotopes Park is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
