ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Rome Emperors 4-3 in walk off fashion Wednesday evening. Trailing 3-1, Jeron Williams cleared the bases in the bottom of the ninth with a two-run single combined with an Emperors throwing error. The three-run sequence sent McCormick Field into a frenzy.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists were down a run and down to their final strike on Thursday when John Garcia clubbed a two-run go-ahead double in the top of the ninth. The Winston-Salem Dash rebounded in the bottom of the ninth, scored two of their own, and walked off on Asheville

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped a close game to the Greenville Drive 3-2 on Friday night. The Tourists nearly pulled out the win with a furious eighth inning rally; however, the Drive narrowly escaped when a three-run Homer was barely foul and a play at the plate went the way

ASHEVILLE- The Houston Astros announced Pascanel Ferreras as their lower-level Minor League Player of the Month for the month of April. Ferreras was named alongside the lower-level Minor League Pitcher of the Month and newest member of the Asheville Tourists, James Hicks.
