Tigres: Doble sesión de entrenamiento en Cancún

Roo (www.tigresqroo.com) 25 de marzo de 2025.- Las dobles sesiones de práctica de los Tigres de Quintana Roo no fueron excepción este martes, ya que desde las nueve de la mañana, jugadores y cuerpo técnico hicieron acto de presencia en el parque Félix “Chano” Flores del ejido Alfredo V. Bonfil, que en esta ocasión fue la sede del Spring Training, para posteriormente trasladarse a Playa Langosta, donde se realizaron trabajos físicos, tanto en la arena como dentro del mar.
Por lo pronto este martes en tierras bonfileñas, los bengalíes cumplieron con su noveno día de Spring Training, donde se realizó el tercer juego interescuadras planificado por el manager Christopher Jess Retherford, el cual una vez más fue de cinco innings.
En este juego se volvieron a integrar los equipos Gris y Azul; ganando los segundos 6-1; pero donde los primeros alinearon con Carlos Figueroa (JC), Agustín Murillo (3B), Melvin Mercedes (2B), Leonardo Reginatto (1B), Alan López (JD), Alexis Wilson (R), Randy Trejo (PC), Germán Revilla (JI) y Emilio Martínez (BD); teniendo como lanzadores al estadounidense Cameron Gann (2 innings), seguido por el colombiano Luis Moreno (2) y el dominicano Henry Montas (1).
Al tiempo que por el equipo Azul saltaron al diamante Cornelius Randolph (JC), Gaige Howard (JD), Willie Calhoun (BD), Gabriel Cancel (PC), Marc Flores (1B), Cito Culver (2B), Robert Emery (R), Antonio Monroy (JI) y Robert Rabasa (3B), además de que sus serpentineros fueron Deyni Ollvero (2 entradas), Markos Sánchez (1), Brayan Muñoz (1) y el cancunense Pedro Peniche (1).
Tras el choque interno que duró cinco episodios, los Tigres se trasladaron a Playa Langosta, donde trabajaron prácticamente un par de horas con ejercicios de resistencia, bajo la supervisión de los trainers Erick Herrera, Eduardo Franco y Gilberto Gómez.
Esta visita a las playas del Caribe Mexicano, tuvo un par de intenciones, siendo la primera el realizar trabajos físicos en la playa, mientras que la otra, fue el integrar de manera recreativa a los peloteros, provocando una mejor convivencia de grupo.
Cabe señalar que en Playa Langosta, ante miradas de bañistas internacionales, nacionales y locales, los jugadores bengalíes realizaron un par de ejercicios dentro del mar azul turquesa de Cancún y otros dos sobre la arena blanca de las playas de este destino turístico.
Para este miércoles 26 de marzo, los Tigres de Quintana Roo regresarán al Estadio Beto Ávila Sherwin-Williams de la SM 21, donde a partir de las 17:00 horas, darán pie a su décimo día de entrenamientos primaverales.
