Greater Nevada Field is a whole lot of fun for everyone coming out. And as the offseason starts to wind down, there are a few things we miss even more than usual. So, in no particular order, here’s a list of the five best reasons to come out to an Aces game in 2022. And if you already know why you should come out and want to make it official, tickets are available here_._

Mr. Baseball

A silent guardian. A watchful protector. A man? A baseball. He’s Mr. Baseball. And every seventh-inning stretch, he emerges from his home behind centerfield and leads Greater Nevada Field in his signature rendition of Take Me Out to the Ballgame.

He’s jolly ball with rosy cheeks and the largest Aces hat on earth. You can’t miss him.

Racin’ Aces

Every game, the Aces of Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds race from first base to third along the warning track. And almost every time, an act of betrayal, violence or shenanigans ensues. Usually at the expense of the poor Ace of Spades – who never did anything wrong and yet still gets bullied.

They’ve tackled each other, been blocked by players jumping out of the dugout, been detained by security for stepping on the grass, been stopped by Darth Vader on Star Wars night, and just tripped over their own two feet. How can you not want to see it?

Added bonuses

From bobbleheads, to wands, to socks, fans have had plenty of memorable giveaways at Aces games over the years. Who doesn’t love free stuff? Now make it Aces gear, and how can you not be ready to line up outside Greater Nevada Field?

And that’s just before the game. Don’t forget about fireworks shows after most Friday home games. Because the only thing better than free stuff is watching colored fire explode in the sky.

Beer Bats

Ok, another thing right up there with free stuff and watching colored fire explode in the sky. Beer bats. It’s a plastic bat, that conveniently fits 32 ounces of liquid. And you can choose to fill it with beer or even a frozen margarita. And then when you’re done, you have a commemorative plastic bat!

Please drink responsibly.

Good Baseball

All of the fun experiences aside, the baseball on the field is pretty great too. Future superstars have come through Reno. Everyone on the field is one step away from the show. Some of the top prospects in baseball will come through Greater Nevada Field in 2022. Players that in 10 years you’ll be able to brag about seeing before he made it big.

Last year’s team won a whole lot of games, and finished second in the division. And the boys are primed to do even better in 2022.
