The Missoula PaddleHeads are a professional baseball team located in Missoula, Montana. The franchise is a member of the Pioneer League "Pioneer League (baseball)"). We have been part of the Missoula community since 1999 and proudly acknowledge the Pioneer League championship wins in 1999, 2006, 2012 and 2015.

This position plays an integral leadership role, in that, they will drive sales through their individual efforts and provide functional leadership on food and beverage operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Corporate Sales and Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing all Food and Beverage Operations at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.

• Managing an account list to secure sponsorship, party, and ticket package sales that reach a personal sales goal and assists the team in achieving overall team goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reach a yearly personal sales goal through contract sales and as directed by the Director of Sales.

• Be a valuable member of our corporate sales team by maintaining a client list of current partners while developing new client relationships to reach an annual sales goal.

• Service a client list through consultive selling techniques and year around communication to ensure a quality list of satisfied corporate partners.

• Oversee the overall operation of all Food and Beverage operations at Ogren Park Allegiance Field, including 46 in-season baseball games and all non-baseball events.

• Establish and exceed strategic goals with respect to profitability margins, waste minimization, menu selection, and staffing needs.

• Create an overall Food and Beverage operations plan that meets or exceeds the standards required by our local health department.

• Manage just-in-time procurement, inventory and waste management.

• Hire and manage a quality in-season Kitchen Manager. Work with the Kitchen Manager to ensure a diverse and profitable menu that meets exceeds the needs of our customers and fans.

• Hire and manage a quality in-season staff to support all food and beverage operations.

• Oversee capital expenditure projects relating to our Food and Beverage operations.

• Create a plan for the food and beverage operation, when possible, to minimize trash waste through recycling or compostable product purchasing.

Experience Required:

• A passion to work hard, embrace success and be in Professional Baseball and event management

• Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well

• Ability to be creative and enhance our product

• Must have restaurant or food service experience.

• Prefer someone who is trained on the preparation of quality food.

• Catering or some sort of event food and beverage service experience preferred.

• Training in proper safe food handling and responsible alcohol serving is required. Classes will be offered by the PaddleHeads, if otherwise qualified, to complete before the season begins. Must pass certification as a probationary requirement unless currently certified.

• Must possess general computer skills including Microsoft Office

• Must have own transportation
