Xander Bogaerts (2012-13)…Made his Double-A debut at just 19 years old, hitting 5 homers in 23 games…Hit .311 in '13 before a promotion to Pawtucket.

Rafael Devers (2017)…Hit 18 homers in just 277 at-bats, before a promotion to Triple-A Pawtucket…On July 24th, was called up by Boston.

Blake Swihart (2014-15)…Hit .300, 12 homers and 55 RBI in 92 games in 2014…Appeared in 2 games on a Major League Rehab Assignment in '15.

Brock Holt (2017)…Went 3-for-12 in four Major League Rehab games.

Mookie Betts (2014-15)…Dominated the Eastern League in 2014, hitting .355 in just 54 games…Homered in his only game in '15, appearing in Akron on a Major League Rehab Assignment.

Jackie Bradley Jr. (2012)…Appeared in 61 games in 2012, hitting .271 with 6 homers and 29 RBI.

Andrew Benintendi (2016)…His 63 games with Portland in 2016 was the most for any of his minor league teams…Hit .295 with 8 homers and 44 RBI.

Former Sea Dogs on Red Sox Disabled List: 

Marco Hernandez (2015)…Hernandez homered in the 2015 Eastern League All-Star game and hit .326 in 66 games with the Sea Dogs.

Austin Maddox (2016-17)…Maddox appeared in 33 games with the Sea Dogs over a two-year period. The righty allowed just two earned runs in 13.1 IP last season.

Dustin Pedroia (2005)…The Sea Dogs Hall of Famer hit .324 with 8 homers and 40 RBI in 66 games. Pedroia was named the 2007 American League Rookie of the Year and 2008 MVP.
