McGrath fans nine in a 2-0 win over Erie
Portland, Maine- Daniel McGrath outdueled Casey Mize with seven shutout innings and the Sea Dogs (23-22) shutout the Erie SeaWolves(33-13) 2-0 in front of 6,433 on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field. Portland has now won six of their last seven.

McGrath (W, 4-0) allowed just three hits while walking two and matching a career-high with nine strikeouts. The Australian lefty lowered his ERA to 1.34 and has now allowed just one earned run over his last 59.0 innings pitched.
Mize (L, 6-2) was nearly as good as McGrath. Last year's first overall pick allowed one run on five hits over six innings while walking one and striking out seven.
