Davenport, IA -- Recently, Minor League Baseball (MiLB) announced that with the affects of and regulations set because of COVID-19, the start of the 2020 baseball season will be postponed. A projected start date has not been set at this point of time. Even though games will not be at Modern Woodmen Park come April 9, we want to make sure you're ready for the season with some exciting packages and a merchandise deal that will Rally the River Bandits during another postponed season.

There are two levels at which fans can purchase packages to support the Bandits- Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 1:

• GA 10-Ticket Voucher Book (Value $59) and a $25 Bandit Card for $75

OR

• Lower Box 10-Ticket Voucher Book (Value $99) and a $50 Bandit Card for $125

With the purchase of either Level 1 option, purchasers will get a certificate to throw a first pitch at a regular season 2020 River Bandits home game and have their name included on the "Friendliest Ballpark in America" sign inside the Main Gate's stairwell of Modern Woodmen Park with all other current sponsors and season ticket holders!

Level 2:

If fans purchase a suite or a group outing area for the 2020 season, they will receive:

• First Pitch

ABOUT THE BANDITS: The 2020 season will be the River Bandits' eighth year as the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros and the 13th anniversary season since regaining the River Bandits moniker, which in 2015 was voted a top-8 nickname in all of Minor League Baseball. The River Bandits' charitable donations reached nearly $500,000 in 2019, including a $50,000 cash donation to Genesis Health Systems, and over $100,000 toward flood relief efforts after a record-setting flood displaced the team for over 20 games. In 2015 and again in 2017, the River Bandits earned Ballpark Digest's award for "Best Charitable Works" in Minor League Baseball, the only club to win that coveted award twice.
