American Idol Finalist Skylar Laine Coming to Hadlock

Season 11 Top 5 Finalist to Perform National Anthem and Sign Autographs on May 7th

Portland, Maine- Skylar Laine, a top five finalist on American Idol (Season 11) in 2012, will be appearing at Hadlock Field on Tuesday, May 7th when the Sea Dogs host the Reading Fightin Phils at 6:00 PM.

Laine will perform the National Anthem and will be available for free autographs at the Sea Dogs' autograph table in the concourse until 7:45 PM.

Laine was a top five finalist on American Idol (Season 11) which was won by Phillip Phillips.  She participated in the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2012.  In November 2012 she signed with 19 Entertainment and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work on her debut album.  She also debuted an original song called "Settle Down," written by herself, Chris DeStefano and Anne Preven    Laine was one of five contestants from American Idol (Season 11) to ink a record deal.  Laine, 19 years-old, is from Brandon, Mississippi.

Laine is just one of numerous musical acts that are scheduled to be at Hadlock Field this season.  Five-time Grammy Nominee Brandon Heath will be performing on May 4th for Faith and Family Day.  The Sea Dogs Mascot Band; The Kastaways will perform at every Saturday home game.
