Kevin Boles Issues Thank You Letter to Portland Fans

Former Sea Dogs Skipper Promoted to Manage Triple-A Pawtucket
December 20, 2013

To the fans of Portland,

I wanted to thank you for making the past three seasons an incredible experience. Thank you for your friendship and for always being there for the players and staff. Portland is an ideal place to develop future Major League players and it would not be possible without your loyalty. I am grateful for my experience in Portland and will always look back as being some of the best times of my life.

Sincerely,

Kevin Boles

Kevin Boles managed the Portland Sea Dogs for three seasons from 2011-2013, where he produced a 195-229 record. He was recently promoted and will manage the Red Sox Triple-A team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 2014. In 13 seasons as a minor league manager, he has a career record of 797-786. Former Sea Dogs player Billy McMillon will replace Boles as the Sea Dogs manager.
