The top half of the Whitecaps lineup combined for 11 of the Whitecaps 13 hits; establishing a pair of five-run leads in the win. Meadows posted a career-high four hits in five at-bats with three runs, a double and RBI to help the 'Caps enjoy their second road victory of the second half.
The Whitecaps jumped out to a 3-0 lead just three batters into the ballgame, as Andre Lipcius ripped an RBI-double before Bryant Packard launched his first 'Caps homer - a two-run shot to take control of the contest. In the fifth, the 'Caps scored two more as Meadows and Packard ripped run-scoring doubles to extend the advantage to 5-0.
