Timber Rattlers sod available to public for free

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will have some sod left over when they are finished with their field renovation project at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. If you need some sod for your fall yard project, you are invited to pick up some for free beginning Friday, October 2.

The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers has made turf donations to Weyauwega-Fremont, Omro, Neenah, and Menasha High Schools, but will have around 20,000 square feet of sod remaining when the project is completed.

Interested fans may stop at the stadium parking lot starting Friday morning at 10:00am. Sod is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rolls are 4' wide by 50' long, but may be cut to the length that is needed if that is too much for one project.
