Behrmann Recognized as Chef of the Year by the Fox Valley Chapter of American Culinary Federation

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Fox Valley chapter of the American Culinary Federation has named Charles Behrmann, the Executive Chef of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, as their Chef of the Year for 2018. The award was announced during the chapter's second annual awards gala at the Bridgewood Hotel in Neenah

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Fox Valley chapter of the American Culinary Federation has named Charles Behrmann, the Executive Chef of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, as their Chef of the Year for 2018. The award was announced during the chapter's second annual awards gala at the Bridgewood Hotel in Neenah on Monday, November 12. Behrmann is about to begin his third season as a member of the Timber Rattlers front office.

"Chef Charles has done an incredible job for us since day one and is well deserving of this award," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "This award honestly comes as no surprise to anyone that works with Charles as he is so dedicated to his craft and is so passionate about putting out a great product 100% of the time. Everyone in the Timber Rattlers' organization is proud of Charles and very excited to see him receive this recognition."

Behrmann, who was selected as the winner from a group of five nominees from various area businesses, has been a board member for the ACF-Fox Valley for three years and has served as the group's vice president since early 2018. He is active in various community events including mentoring high school culinary competition teams at Neenah high school, attending and cooking for different fundraisers, and as a committee member for the awards gala.
The gala is held annually to recognize area hospitality leaders and raise funds for scholarships given to hospitality students at Fox Valley Technical College.

The Timber Rattlers baseball team will begin the 2019 season at Pohlman Field in Beloit, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 4. Wisconsin's home opener is Saturday, April 6 at 4:05pm against the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
