COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia used a surge of offense in the middle innings of Wednesday's game against West Virginia to win the series finale, 3-1.
Moreno's valor in the sixth and seventh frames helped erase a one-run deficit. Moreno used his speed to score from second base on a routine ground out in the sixth and then plated an insurance run with a two-bagger in the following frame.
