Summary
Harrisburg's Sterling Sharp lived up to his name, tossing seven shutout innings in his Double-A debut and leading the Senators to a 6-0 win over the Akron RubberDucks Sunday afternoon at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Turning Point
The Senators (39-35) scored three times on four hits in the fifth inning against Aaron Civale (1-2) to expand a 1-0 lead to 4-0. Senators catcher Matt Reistetter led off the inning with his first Double-A homer. Carter Kieboom and Austin Davidson chipped in RBI doubles.
Mound Presence
Sharp (1-0) made his first start for the Senators after being called up from High-A Potomac. In his first Double-A start, he maneuvered easily through seven innings, allowing just one infield hit and retiring the final 13 batters he faced. Roman Mendez followed Sharp and fired two scoreless innings to complete the shutout.
Duck Tales
Civale lost for the first time since April 23rd. He allowed nine hits and four earned runs in 4.2 innings. The RubberDucks (42-33) were limited to just two hits. Sicnarf Loopstok had an infield hit off sharp in the third, and Joe Sever singled off Mendez in the ninth.
Notebook
The Senators (40-34) picked up their fourth shutout of the season and won two of three in the series…Austin Davidson had three hits for the Senators who pounded out 29 hits in the last two games…Akron finished 3-3 on the homestand…Time of game: 2:21… Attendance: 6,964.
