Why YOU Should Be an AquaSox Season Ticket Holder
So you go to a few AquaSox games every summer. You bring a couple friends or family members, grab your favorite hot dog from Franks Hot Dog Stand, and enjoy American's favorite pastime at the beautiful Everett Memorial Stadium. Even with a cold local brew in hand, the always amusing on-field entertainment and even an AquaSox win you feel like something is missing. That void can be filled once you become an AquaSox Season Ticket Holder! Here are the five greatest reasons to become an AquaSox VIP:
1. Name plaque on your seat
Everyone loves a little recognition. Once you choose the perfect seats in the ballpark you will get YOUR name plastered on YOUR seats. Every time you enter the gates into Everett Memorial Stadium, you enter knowing that no other tush has set itself in your coveted seats.
2. Save Money
Think about this. Let's say you purchase a ticket online for a night out at the ballpark. One diamond club seat is $16 plus you get charged $2 for ordering online and an additional $1.50 per ticket for handling. That comes out to $19.50. As a season ticket holder, you would only pay $9.80 for that same night out at the ballpark. That's almost a 50% savings!
3. Ticket Exchange Program
We would love to see your smiling face 39 times next summer but we have heard that there are other things to do that may take you out of your seat for a game or two (obviously nothing as exciting as cheering on your Sox). Luckily for you, our newest season ticket holder, we have a generous ticket exchange program so that none of your tickets go to waste. If you can't make it to a game you can exchange your unused ticket(s) for any other game during the season. Feel free to use 6 tickets to bring your family out for Grandma's birthday or celebrate Sally's recent graduation from high school. These are your tickets and your seats- you tell us how you want to use them. Another option you have is to donate your unused tickets to Swing for Kids. Swing for Kids gives AquaSox tickets to kids who would otherwise not be able to attend a game.
4. VIP Events
If we had a red carpet you would have several opportunities each year to put on your Sunday best and walk it. During the off season we host numerous events ONLY for our season ticket holders. A few weeks ago we invited our season ticket holders to Tulalip Resort Casino for a World Series viewing party, complete with a scrumptious buffet and free drinks. We will head back up to Tulalip in the spring to watch the Mariners Opening Day on the big screen and once the AquaSox players roll into town we host a Meet the Players BBQ where you have the opportunity to meet the future Mariners and enjoy another meal on us.
5. Discount Beer & Coffee
If there are two things that the Pacific Northwest loves its beer and coffee. We know that bad things can happen if your intravenous flow of caffeine is cut off so...cheap coffee it is! Season Ticket holders are offered a special coffee mug and beer cup for discounted beer and coffee from our concession stand. If you are seated in this Diamond Club, this deal just got sweeter! We have some awesome waitresses that will take your order and bring you your drinks and food right in your seats.
On top of all of those amazing reasons to become a season ticket holder, the AquaSox are hosting the Northwest League All-Star Game on August 6, 2013 and tickets are currently only available to ticket holders.
