North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers were swept in their season opening three game set by the Springfield Cardinals, falling 8-1 on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park. The Cardinals banged out 13 hits including a pair of home runs by Aaron McKeithan and RJ Yeager who each drove in three runs. Trent Baker threw five shutout frames to earn the win while Danny Wirchansky was tagged with the loss for Arkansas.
