North Little Rock, AR—The Midland RockHounds rode a strong start from Joey Estes and consecutive fifth inning home runs to a 9-2 win over the Arkansas Travelers on Wednesday night. North Little Rock, AR—The Midland RockHounds rode a strong start from Joey Estes and consecutive fifth inning home runs to a 9-2 win over the Arkansas Travelers on Wednesday night. RockHounds starter Joey Estes allowed just a run over five innings with seven strikeouts and earned the win. Greg Deichmann hit a grand slam and Jeremy Eierman followed with a solo shot as part of a six-run fifth inning. Logan Warmoth led the Travs offense with a three hit night including a homer.

Moments That Mattered

* Midland scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings. Arkansas missed chances early leaving two runners on base in each of the opening three frames.

* A hit, an error and a walk loaded the bases opening the fifth setting the stage for Deichmann’s grand slam.

* The seven run margin marked the second largest defeat of the year for the Travs.
