Rios powers Oklahoma City past 'Cakes

Grand slam highlights career-high six RBI for Rios

Edwin Rios hit a grand slam in the third inning en route to a career-high six RBI in the Oklahoma City Dodgers' 11-4 win against the New Orleans Baby Cakes on Wednesday night at Bricktown Ballpark.
Bobby Wilson tied his season high with four RBI as he combined with Rios to drive in 10 of Oklahoma City's 11 runs on the night. Rios went 4-for-5 in the game, adding a double and three runs scored.
The Dodgers broke a tie game with a five-run bottom of the third as they grabbed the lead for good.
Oklahoma City outhit the Baby Cakes, 15-8, on the night, but it was New Orleans who grabbed the first lead, scoring the first run of the night in the second inning.
Brian Anderson led off with a single and eventually scored on a ground out by Jake Elmore. After the Dodgers responded with two runs in the bottom of the second, the 'Cakes came back to tie in the third when Ramón Cabrera drew a bases-loaded walk.
Cabrera and Elmore teamed up for sixth-inning doubles and Christian Colón chipped in an RBI single to complete the Baby Cakes' scoring.
William Cuevas (2-6) was charged with the loss, allowing nine runs and 11 hits over five innings with four walks and two strikeouts.
Justin Marks (4-2) earned the victory, surrendering two runs and five hits over five innings with seven strikeouts and four walks.
The Baby Cakes play their final road game of the season on Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
