When kids need a break from the seats, Schooner’s Splash Zone is the place to be. Located in the outfield, this kid-friendly area gives younger fans a chance to cool off, splash around and have fun while parents can still keep an eye on the game.
Just beyond the outfield, families will find another unique part of the Keesler Federal Park experience: the beach area. Kids can play in the sand, burn off some energy and enjoy the Gulf Coast atmosphere while watching the game. It’s a relaxed spot for families looking for something a little different during their night at the ballpark.
The fun starts before the first pitch at Shuckers Plaza. Before the gates open, families can enjoy pregame entertainment, play wiffle ball on the Community Bank Wiffle Ball field, and experience fun activities and a chance to get into the game-day spirit before heading inside the ballpark.

Are Biloxi Shuckers games family-friendly for all ages?
Absolutely. Shuckers games are designed to be fun for the entire family. In addition to the baseball game itself, families can enjoy the splash pad, beach area, music, activities between innings, character appearances, themed nights, giveaways and fireworks on select dates.
Are there activities for kids at Keesler Federal Park?
Yes. Younger fans can cool off in the Schooner’s Splash Zone, play in the sand area beyond the outfield, participate in activities throughout the game and, on Sundays bring your glove and a ball and play catch out on the grass after the game.
Where is Keesler Federal Park located?
Keesler Federal Park is in downtown Biloxi and is easily accessible from Gulfport, Ocean Springs, D'Iberville, Long Beach, Pascagoula and other nearby communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Can families purchase group tickets?
Yes. Group ticket options are available for birthday parties, church groups, school groups, youth teams and other family gatherings. Visit the group tickets page for additional information.
Are concessions cashless?
Yes. Keesler Federal Park operates as a cashless venue. Guests should plan to use a credit card, debit card or another approved form of electronic payment when purchasing food, beverages and merchandise.
Can we eat dinner at the ballpark?
Shuck yeah. Families will find everything from burgers, pizza and hot dogs to Gulf Coast favorites and sweet treats. We encourage you to make dinner at the ballpark part of the experience.
Do children need a ticket?
Children younger than 2 years old may enter without a ticket if they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. Children ages 2 and older need their own ticket.
Can I bring a stroller or diaper bag?
Yes. Strollers, diaper bags and other family essentials are welcome inside the ballpark, although bags are subject to inspection.
What happens if it rains?
If it’s a light rain, the game will go on. We make every effort to play each scheduled game. If weather affects the game schedule, updates are shared through the team's website and social media channels. Eligible tickets may generally be exchanged according to the club's rain policy.
Where should we park?
More than 8,500 parking spaces are available within a 15-minute walk of Keesler Federal Park. Arriving when the gates open gives families plenty of time to explore the ballpark before first pitch.
Do I have to worry about the kids getting hit with a ball?
Fortunately for fans, there are nets now protecting fans at Keesler Federal Park. A strict mandate was rolled out for all 120 Minor League ballparks to have complete foul-pole-to-foul-pole net coverage by Opening Day in 2025.
