Wilmington, DE - Thursday night's contest between the Wilmington Blue Rocks and the Potomac Nationals has been postponed due to rain. It is the ninth rainout of the season for the Blue Rocks.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the P-Nats return to town August 26-29. The specific date will be announced at a later time. Both contests in the doubleheader will be seven innings in length.

Wilmington now hits the road for a six-game road trip. The Blue Rocks return to action Friday night in Winston-Salem for the opener of a three-game set against the Dash. Wilmington will send righty Glenn Sparkman (3-2, 1.76), who was scheduled to pitch Thursday, to the mound while the Dash will counter with righty Tony Bucciferro (6-6, 3.53). First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m. and fans can listen to the broadcast on 89.7 WGLS-FM.

The Rocks return to Frawley Stadium on July 11 night for the first game of a four-game homestand against the Salem Red Sox. For tickets, call 302-888-BLUE or visit BlueRocks.com.
