Pensacola, FL - You may have first met Ricki Vann Stewart on your television as a WEAR ABC 3 News Reporter and Weather Anchor, but now she is with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos as their new Community Relations and Public Relations Manager.

Following her stint with Channel Three News, Stewart moved to the peach state to continue pursuing her broadcasting career as a news anchor and producer. She and her husband were eventually drawn back to Pensacola because of their love for the area. "Riley and I love this community so much. Coming back to Pensacola taught us how grateful we are for our friends here, the active life we get to live here and the opportunities we have to be used here. We are grateful for where God has us," said Stewart.
Now working as the new Community Relations and Public Relations Manager for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, it is her responsibility to create a positive experience in the community and at the baseball games for sponsors, fans, and season ticket holders.

The President of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Jonathan Griffith, looks forward to Stewart's involvement at the stadium and in the community to take the program to the next level. "We are proud to have Ricki join the team. We are looking forward to Ricki's creativity to expand the Wahoos brand and involvement in the community. Ricki will help the Wahoos give an experience that improves the quality of life in our community," said Griffith.
"Everything you see and experience at each home game is magical. People come to this stadium from all walks of life and all different kinds of professions. But when fans walk through those gates together, they leave reality, know they are surrounded by a great community and can enjoy watching America's favorite sport right on the bay," said Stewart. Riley and Ricki are expecting their first child this August, on the tail end of the Blue Wahoos 2018 season.
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Established in 2012, the Blue Wahoos are in the Panhandle of Northwest Florida and play baseball at Blue Wahoos Stadium. The Blue Wahoos team and staff enjoy bringing professional-level sports and family entertainment to the citizens of Pensacola, as well as Reds fans worldwide.
