BRADENTON, FL - In the final game of a three game set from LECOM Park, the Bradenton Marauders dropped their second game in three days to the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Sunday as the visitors doubled up Bradenton to steal the series two games to one. Both sides hit four long balls each including every Marauders tally on the afternoon in a contest that began after a one hour forty eight minute rain delay on Cinco de Mayo.

Lakeland jumped on the board in the first inning with a single tally and added to that total with three runs on a pair of home runs off Marauders starting pitcher RHP Max Kranick to make the score 4-0 after two frames. Two more runs in the top of the fourth inning were brought around on two hits and a pair of errors to bring the score to 6-0. 3B Dylan Busby got the Marauders on the board in the fourth inning in his second home run in as many nights, a laser beam shot off the batters eye in center field to bring the game to 6-2 at that point. Both 1B Lucas Tancas and LF Chris Sharpe went yard in the home half of the seventh inning coming out of the stretch break with Tancas' bomb to lead off the inning and Sharpe's coming with two outs. The only other Marauders tally was on yet another home run, this time off the bat of SS Robbie Glendinning to lead off the ninth inning to cap off the scoring in a late comeback try that fell short.

Bradenton travels to Spectrum Field in Clearwater beginning on Monday to take on the Threshers in the first series of the year between the two clubs. RHP Cody Bolton will get the start in the first game that is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
