BRADENTON, Fla. - In the final game of a three game series between the Bradenton Marauders and the Clearwater Threshers, a limited offensive outing for both sides was ultimately ended in the bottom of the tenth inning when Bligh Madris singled to right field to plate the second Marauders run of the inning to walk it off by a 3-2 score.

The thrilling victory on Sunday afternoon came after eighth stellar innings for RHP James Marvel as he added to his league leading innings pitched total in the start. Marvel earned a no decision in his longest start of the season, also the first game in which he lasted longer than seven innings, after striking out four Threshers batters and recorded six innings facing the minimum out of his eight total. LHP Ronny Agustin worked through the final two innings and allowed an unearned run when the runner on base to start the tenth inning came around to score on a Luke Williams double to put Clearwater up in the tenth.

After Jared Oliva scored his Florida State League leading 71st run of the season after being hit by a pitch in the very first inning, the Marauders were blanked by Clearwater until the first extra inning. With Oliva on second base, Albert Baur's walk was followed by a game tying single from Hunter Owen, and Owen's heroics were topped by Bligh Madris who ended the game with a single to right-center field to make the final score 3-2 and moved Bradenton's record in extra innings contests to 6-2 this season.

The Marauders travel to Port Charlotte Monday to begin a three game series at Charlotte Sports Park against the Stone Crabs. Game one begins at 6:35 with RHP Gavin Wallace on the hill for Bradenton.
