(ALLENTOWN, PA) -- The Charlotte Knights dropped the finale of a three-game series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs by a score of 7-1 on Sunday afternoon from Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, PA. Charlotte dropped all three games in the series to the ‘Pigs.

Right fielder Víctor Reyes drove home Charlotte’s lone run of the game on a sacrifice-fly RBI in the top of the sixth inning. The RBI was the team-leading 64th of the season for Reyes. Third baseman Yolbert Sánchez had a solid day at the plate for the Knights. Sánchez tallied three hits and a stolen base on the afternoon. In all, the Knights managed a total of four hits in the finale and one run -- the team’s only run of the three-game series.

Chicago White Sox infielder Yoán Moncada continued his major league rehab stint, appearing in his third consecutive game with the Knights on Sunday. The 28-year-old infielder, who started as the team’s designated hitter on Sunday, went 0-for-4 at the plate.

Charlotte LHP Nate Fisher started his team-high 18th game of the season and allowed just one run over 3.2 innings pitched. Fisher did not factor in the decision. LHP Ben Holmes (0-1, 10.13), who was promoted to Charlotte from Double-A Birmingham on Friday, was charged with the loss. Holmes allowed three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Offensively for the IronPigs, Símon Muzziotti paced the offense with two hits and two RBI. His two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning helped Lehigh Valley pull away in the finale. Lehigh Valley LHP Ben Bowden (3-2, 4.32) was the winning pitcher in relief of starter Bailey Falter.

The Knights will now have an off day on Monday before opening a six-game homestand against the Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) on Tuesday night in Uptown Charlotte. The "Voice of the Knights" Matt Swierad and long-time broadcaster Mike Pacheco will have the call for all of the action on www.CharlotteKnights.com, MiLB.tv and the Bally Live app. First pitch is set for 7:04 p.m. from Truist Field on Tuesday.
