(Uptown Charlotte, NC) - The Charlotte Knights and Queen City Q are once again teaming up to host the first round of the club's annual National Anthem tryouts on Monday, February 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Queen City Q in Uptown Charlotte. The tryouts are free of charge and are open to the public. Fans under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Contestants will be required to register before February 23, and will then be given a specific time to perform that evening. Any fan interested in trying out to sing the National Anthem at BB&T Ballpark during the 2015 season must first fill out the Charlotte Knights National Anthem Registration form located at charlotteknights.com. Once filled out, the form can be submitted to Charlotte Knights Community Relations Director Lindsey Roycraft by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at 704-274-8330.
Each individual will be given a maximum of two minutes on stage to perform his or her best rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner". Judges will select the finalists, who will then be invited back to the final audition at BB&T Ballpark at a date to be determined. Individuals with instruments are more than welcome, but will need to bring their own equipment.

Mint St. The Charlotte Knights return home to BB&T Ballpark on Friday, April 3 as they host the Chicago White Sox in an exhibition game. Tickets for the Knights Leadoff Luncheon are also on sale now.
