CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lookouts fell, 10-5, to the Birmingham Barons on Thursday night from AT&T Field.

Chattanooga (35-37) got on the board early with a Michael Siani RBI in the second and Ivan Johnson came around to score on a wild pitch to extend the lead.

The Lookouts tacked on one more in the third with an RBI double from Allan Cerda to score Alex McGarry.

McGarry extended his hit streak to 13 games with a lead-off single in the third, finishing the game 2-for-5 with a home run and an RBI. Quincy McAfee went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.

Andrew Abbott (4-3) was tagged with the loss giving up five runs on six hits, two walks, and struck out eight batters in five innings of work.

Luis Curbelo paced the Birmingham (33-39) offense with a 4-for-5 day with two doubles and three RBIs. Brian Glowicki (1-3) picked up his first win of the season pitching 1.2 innings in relief not allowing a hit or run on three walks and fanned three batters.

The two teams meet again on Friday at AT&T Field. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
