Chattanooga Lookouts Defeat Chattanooga St. 8-0 In Exhibition Game

Tonight's contest started with two 1-2-3 innings, but Ruben Ibarra kicked the scoring off with a solo homer in the second. The team tacked on three more runs to make it 4-0. They added one more in the third and another in the fourth on an Austin Hendrick home run.
The parade of homers continued with a two-run shot by Dominic Pitelli to cap off the Lookouts' scoring at eight.
For the Chattanooga State Tigers, Bradin Graves recorded a hit in the fourth, and Tyler Jones hit a single in the fifth. Red-shirt Freshman Michael Sime ended the night with a scoreless inning in the bottom of the sixth.
After an off day tomorrow, the Lookouts will head to Rocket City for their first road trip of the year. They will then head home for Opening Day at AT&T Field at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for Opening Day and the rest of the season are available on Lookouts.com.
