Lookouts Fall to Shuckers, 15-3

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lookouts fell, 15-3, on Saturday night to the Biloxi Shuckers from AT&T Field. Biloxi (30-30) put up eight runs in the first and never looked back hitting five singles, two doubles, a triple, and a home run with a walk to get the game started.

Alex McGarry got the Lookouts on the board with his second Double-A home run of the season in the fourth.

In the seventh, James Free came around to score on a wild pitch and Michael Siani hit a sacrifice fly to center to bring home Quincy McAfee for runs two and three.

Free paced the Lookout offense with a 2-for-4 contest with a double. McAfee also registered a pair of hits on three at-bats.

Andrew Abbott (4-2) got the start for Chattanooga (31-31) but was chased out after just two-thirds of an innings giving up eight runs on eight hits and a walk and struck out two batters.

Pedro Severino led the Shucker offense finishing 4-for-6 with a pair of RBIs. T.J. Shook (2-0) got the start on the mound and was credited with the win. Shook went six innings allowing just one run on five hits, with a pair of walks, and struck out seven batters.

Chattanooga looks to bounce back tomorrow as they wrap up the series with Biloxi at AT&T Field beginning at 2:15 p.m.
