CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lookouts fell, 5-2, to the Rocket City Trash Pandas on Friday night from AT&T Field.

Nick Quintana paced the Lookout offense going 2-for-4 with an RBI, the only Lookout with multiple hits.

Carson Spiers got the start and no decision for Chattanooga (40-54) on the mound pitching five innings allowing a run on three hits, two walks, and struck out three batters. Quintana got the scoring started in the first with an RBI single to score Michael Siani. Rocket City (54-40) evened things in the fourth with a Preston Palmeiro solo shot to right. The Trash Pandas then took advantage of a Lookouts throwing error that allowed Kevin Maitan to score from first.

The guests added two more on in the top of the seventh and Chattanooga pushed one across with an Alex McGarry single to score Elly De La Cruz but the Lookouts could not get any closer.

Ryan Aguilar led the Rocket City offense finishing the game 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. Jimmy Herget (1-0) got the win with two innings of relief work, not allowing a base runner, and struck out a batter.
