The Clearwater Threshers are hosting Veterans & Military Appreciation Night with Camo Cap Giveaway, presented by Kelli's Catering & Events, on Friday, August 4th. BayCare Ballpark gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. game with the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
- All current and former service members receive a complimentary field box ticket and their accompanying family may purchase a $9 field box ticket for $7 (redeemable in person only). Also available are $15.50 Hot Corner Café tickets, which include an AYCE picnic menu. Please reserve Hot Corner tickets in advance by calling 727-712-4414.
- Arrive early for a Threshers camo cap giveaway, quantities limited
- Threshers players and coaches will be wearing special camouflaged jerseys, some of which will be autographed and available in an online auction.
- Veterans Affairs representatives will be onsite, plus recruiters and interactive displays from different branches.
- Don't miss the military vehicles staged in the west lot, plus the swearing-in ceremony for new recruits
- Donate for BOGO ticket offer: 5x7 puzzle books ~ men’s deodorant ~ mac ‘n cheese cups ~ peanuts ~ trail mix ~ sunflower seeds ~ beef jerky ~ fruit snacks ~ Rice Krispy treats ~ snack-size Oreos, Ritz Bits, Cheez-Its, cereal, etc. Drop off at BayCare Ballpark in advance or on July 1 for BOGO field box tickets. Items will be sent to troops via STANO Foundation care packages.
The BayCare Box office is open during games and Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The box office phone number is 727-467-4457. A portion of all military tickets sold, and the proceeds of the online auction will be donated to the Haley House Fund and Stano Foundation.
