FRISCO - Nolan DeVos, Amilcar Chirinos, and Alex Santos II teamed to permit three base runners past the first inning Friday night as the Hooks earned their second consecutive win, an 3-2 victory, before an announced crowd of 7,318 at Riders Field.
After allowing a two-run home run by Dylan Dreiling in the first, DeVos dispatched 18 of the final 19 RoughRiders he faced. The 25-year-old from Harrisburg, North Carolina matched his season high of seven strikeouts in his longest outing of the year, spinning six innings of two-run ball.

After allowing a lead-off walk in the seventh, Chirinos struck out three in a row to maintain a 3-2 edge.
Santos breezed six of seven batters faced in two dominant frames for his third save of the season. The 24-year-old from the Bronx, New York owns a 1.31 ERA over his last 13 outings, striking out 29 in 20.2 frames.

Corpus Christi's first run came courtesy of a lead-off single by Will Bush in the second. Bush stole second and scampered home on fly balls by Chase Call and Cameron Sisneros.
Lead-off singles by Alberto Hernandez and Yamal Encarnacion, along with two Frisco errors, paved the way to two decisive runs in the sixth.
