Hooks Release 2024 Promos

CORPUS CHRISTI – Readying for its 19th season of play, the Corpus Christi Hooks Baseball Club rolls out a promotional calendar packed with nearly 30 giveaways for fans and 14 fireworks displays.

Celebrate our Sparkling City by the Sea on select Saturdays with the Corpus Christi Landmark Jersey series, presented by CITGO: April 20, May 25, July 20, August 10, and August 31.

Along with Bud Light Friday Fireworks every Friday at the Ballpark by the Bay, be there as we light the South Texas sky with Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks on Sunday, May 26 and Independence Day Fireworks Wednesday, July 3.

The Texas League campaign kicks off Friday, April 5 at Whataburger Field for a three-game series vs. the Midland RockHounds. Mike Shaw Automotive presents Opening Night T-Shirts to the first 2,000 fans, and postgame enjoy Bud Light Friday Fireworks. The following night we remember Jose Altuve’s rehab appearance from a year ago with an Altuve Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Bobblehead giveaway, courtesy of Whataburger.

Speaking of 2023 rehab appearances, Chas McCormick will also be immortalized in figurine fashion. On Saturday, June 22, Wigington, Rumley, Dunn & Blair helps us remember one of the greatest catches in Hooks history with an interactive Chas McCormick Wall Flipping Bobblehead.

Mutton Bustin’ is back! Presented by Texas Bridge Credit Union, watch the spectacle of kid vs. sheep direct from centerfield following the Friday, May 3 contest vs. Frisco. Pregame, the first 2,000 through the turnstiles receive a Mutton Bustin’ Sammy Bobblehead, courtesy of Texas Bridge Credit Union. Then Saturday, May 4, Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers is handing out Pirate Hawaiian Shirts.

Interested in more wearables? Friday, May 10 net a Short Sleeve Hoodie thanks to Flint Hills Resources. Ben E. Keith offers Jersey Aprons the next night, and for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, the first 1,000 moms take home a Mother's Day Belt Bag presented by Driscoll Health Plan.

Blue Ghosts Weekend, presented by Mike Shaw Automotive, begins Friday, May 24 with the H-E-B & Favor Gift Card Sweepstakes, as over $5,000 in gift cards will be raffled off throughout the game, thanks to H-E-B. Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks and a Hooks Clear Kids Backpack giveaway by Sunnyside Pediatrics PLLC & Sunnyside Pharmacy wrap the series on Sunday, May 26.

Jumping ahead to August, Corpus Christi Athletic Club presents Pickleball Paddles on Friday the 2nd, followed the next night by Margaritaville Jerseys from Corpus Christi Medical Center. The Corpus Christi Gas Department offers Bucket Hats on Sunday, August 4.

Also in the headgear department, Physicians Premier presents Trucker Hats on Friday, July 19, with a Hooks Hat giveaway by Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers on Friday, September 13.

The Astros’ beloved mascot, Orbit, is in the house on Friday, August 9. And to commemorate this interstellar appearance, First Community Bank is giving the first 2,000 an Orbit Fishing Bobblehead.

Día De Los Hooks Weekend is August 29-31, and we are helping mark the occasion with Backpack Coolers from AutoNation on Friday the 30th.

Paired with First Responders Night, an Astros Duffle Bag is going out to the first 2,000 fans Saturday, September 14. This can’t-miss giveaway is made possible by Corpus Christi Medical Center.
