CORPUS CHRISTI - Visitors to the 2019 Rockin' K Farms Fall Festival will have the a-maize-ing opportunity to explore the largest Hooks logo ever created, the theme of this year's Corn Maze, both jointly announced today.
"True to American folklore, baseball and cornfields go hand-in-hand," Hooks General Manager Wes Weigle said. "The Rockin' K Farms Fall Festival coincides with many of our key objectives we strive for at Whataburger Field, and we're eager to partner on an even bigger scale. I know I'm looking forward to solving the giant Hooks-themed maze with my three sons!"
The 6.2-acre maze in nearby Robstown, which since 2014 has used specific logos and designs, will take the shape of the Hooks' primary logo in celebration of the franchise's 15th season in Corpus Christi. Those who enter will have to answer 10 Hooks-related questions throughout the maze.
Hooks mascots Rusty the Hook and Sammy the Seagull will make appearances at the Fall Festival during its Opening Weekend, September 28-29. Also find the Hooks Ticket Truck for prize wheel spins and merchandise for sale.
"Rockin' K Farms is excited to partner with the Hooks for the sixth season," said Kourtni Klepac, who owns the maze with her mother-in-law Traci Klepac and sister-in-law Rachelle Klepac. "Baseball is big in the area and everyone enjoys an evening watching the Hooks. Like the Hooks, Rockin' K Farms strives to provide affordable, family fun for everyone. We are excited to have everyone come out to our Fall Festival and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Tickets for the 2019 Rockin' K Farms Fall Festival go on sale Sunday, September 15. The festival runs weekends only, Saturdays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., from September 28 through November 3. Visit the farm at 5385 County Road 52, Robstown, Texas 78380.
