February 2, 2015

Full tournament passes, weekend packages, and single game tickets for the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship, scheduled for May 19-24 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, are now on sale.

Full tournament passes are available for $150. The pass includes tickets to all 15 tournament games, including the championship on Sunday. Group and corporate tickets are also available.

New this year is a weekend package, which includes Friday night's game, all three games on Saturday, and Sunday's championship, and is available for $50.

Tournament tickets can be purchased online HERE, at the DBAP box office, or by calling 919-956-BULL.

The tournament logo features the ACC Baseball mark and highlights the historic landmarks in downtown Durham.

The tournament will showcase the top 10 ACC teams and will feature two games on May 19, followed by three games per day in a round-robin format from Wednesday through Saturday, May 20-23. The championship game between the two pool winners will be played on Sunday afternoon.

The ACC Baseball Championship annually features many of the nation's top-ranked teams. The ACC placed seven teams in the 2014 NCAA Tournament field, and a total of 18 ACC squads have reached the College World Series over the past nine seasons. Six teams enter the 2015 season ranked in Baseball America's Top 25, more than from any other conference.

"The Durham Bulls have shown a terrific commitment to the league, our schools and our fans with the numerous enhancements to the park," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. "The support of not only the Bulls, but the entire City of Durham, has been outstanding. Our schools had a desire to find a home for the ACC Baseball Championship and we have found a superb one in Durham and the DBAP for the next four years."

The ACC Baseball Championship has been held in Durham eight times previously, including three of the past five years. In 2013, tournament records for single-game attendance (11,329) and championship game attendance (8,697) were set. The 2013 championship drew 58,454 fans, the fourth highest total in league history.
