Camp is from 8:30am to 2:00pm.

Camp 1: June 30-July 2 - SOLD OUT

Camper's Checklist

  • Don't forget your baseball glove, bat and water bottle labeled with your name
  • Sunscreen (labeled with your name)
  • Wear cool, comfortable clothing
  • Cleats are NOT permitted
  • Baseball hats are NOT provided. If you choose to bring your own, please write your name on it
  • Water stations for each group will be available, but you may bring a sports drink of your choice

Frequently Asked Questions

Parents and guardians need to check in their athlete(s) at the front gates of Durham Bulls Athletic Park (corner of Blackwell St. and Jackie Robinson Dr.) as early as 8:30 a.m. each morning. The Durham Bulls staff will utilize an additional area of the ballpark for check in and check out to control crowd build up. Parking spots are available in the American Tobacco Campus parking decks and are free for the first two hours, but you will be required to start a parking session via pay stations in the decks.

Camp activities will end between 1:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Parents and guardians will need to pick up their athlete(s) inside the stadium and check them out at our staffed tables. All athletes must be picked up no later than 2 p.m. PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO CHECK OUT YOUR ATHLETE. Parking spots are available in the American Tobacco Campus parking decks and are free for the first two hours, but you will be required to start a parking session via pay stations in the decks.

Parents will be allowed into the park to watch camp. During drop off parents can request a badge from a Bulls employee that must be kept with them while they are inside the park. Masks must be worn at all times while inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Lunch is included in the registration fee for every athlete and will be served at noon each day of camp.

The "Lost and Found" will be available at the beginning and end of each camp day should any camp athlete misplace their belongings. Please label every item your athlete(s) bring to camp with their first and last name. The Durham Bulls are not responsible for any item lost during baseball camp.

The three baseball camps we host are all structured the same way. There are no differences between the June camp, July camp or the August camp in terms of level, skill, activity or practice. 

Never! Camp happens rain or shine. Our staff will assess the weather, and should we need to stay off the field, we have sheltered options that allow us to continue our stations.

The Durham Bulls provide baseballs and tennis balls for each camp group. These will be sanitized at the end of each camp. Your athlete will need to bring a glove and bat. They are welcome to bring any additional equipment such as helmets and batting gloves.

Cleats are not allowed on the field. Every athlete will need to wear sneakers or tennis shoes in order to participate during baseball camp.

For the social safety of our camp athletes, coaches and staff, we will not have autograph tables for camp.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations made two weeks prior to the starting date of enrolled camp will be refunded $100 of the registration fee. After deadline, no refunds will be given. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact LaTosha Smith at [email protected].

As the COVID-19 situation remains fluid, these protocols are subject to change. Any updates to these will be made at the sole discretion of management in order to maximize fan and employee safety/satisfaction.
