New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats, in conjunction with the Eastern League of Professional Baseball, today announced the rosters for the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game presented by Dunkin' Donuts that will be played on Wednesday, July 10, at 7:00 PM at New Britain Stadium. This is the third time New Britain has hosted the historic circuit's Mid-Summer Classic, with prior starry events having been staged here in 1987 and 2003, respectively.

With today's naming of the Game's 48 player participants, it is abundantly clear that the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game presented by Dunkin' Donuts will feature some of the brightest prospects in all of Minor League Baseball. Included among them are five very talented members of the Rock Cats: RHP A.J. Achter, RHP Trevor May, OF Daniel Ortiz, C Josmil Pinto and INF Danny Santana.

The 12-team League's annual All-Star Game pits the best of the Eastern Division (Binghamton, New Hampshire, Portland, Reading, Trenton and New Britain) and Western Division (Akron, Altoona, Bowie, Erie, Harrisburg and Richmond) against each other. Each roster has 24 players comprised of 10 Pitchers and 14 Position players. Moreover, each All-Star roster contains a minimum of three players from each team, with at least one Pitcher and one Position player selected by fans through on-line and in-stadium voting.
